A Publication of RMRDC · Open Access · Peer-Reviewed

Open Access Statement

JORMAR is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription or pay-per-view fees, to any reader anywhere in the world.

Definition

Open access means that peer-reviewed research is made freely and permanently available online for anyone to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

Licence

All articles published in JORMAR are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). Under this licence, readers are free to share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.

Authors retain copyright of their work. By submitting to JORMAR, authors grant the journal the right of first publication while retaining the right to reuse their own work in any future publication.

Why Open Access?

JORMAR is committed to open access because research that advances Nigeria's industrial development and global sustainability goals should be freely available to all stakeholders — researchers, policymakers, industry practitioners, and the public — regardless of institutional affiliation or geographic location.

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To sustain open-access publication, JORMAR operates an Article Processing Charge (APC) model. APCs are charged only upon acceptance of a manuscript, never at submission. Details are provided on the APC Information page.

Archiving and Preservation

All published articles receive a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via CrossRef. JORMAR is committed to long-term digital preservation of all published content through established archiving services.

Self-Archiving / Green Open Access

Authors may deposit the accepted manuscript (post-peer-review, pre-typeset version) in any institutional or subject repository immediately upon acceptance. The final published version (Version of Record) may also be deposited without embargo.
